Teddy is 2 and a half years old and Faith is 4 months old. Their parents had a dispute and led to the two of them divorcing. The mother has a mental disability. The father is the one who mostly would take care of them, and after some time he saw that as a great challenge. He decided to run away to a far place leaving the mother who was mentally challenged with the kids. The health condition of the mother would not enable her to provide good care to the children. She would take her children and roll them just by the road. The children were naked without clothes and somehow persevered the chilly mornings and evenings without clothing and food. The mother, being insane, beat the children, and she would keep on rolling them. The children got some injuries through the rolling since they were rolled on the bumpy and rough road with stones. Nobody was in a position to help the kids as the mother would throw stones at anyone who approached her. On one fine day, which was a marker day, the mother again, as her routine, took the children and began rolling them towards the market center. People were really touched and had sympathy on the kids but had no way of helping them. The mother placed the kids just by the side and walked aside into a ditch to gather some litter which she ate and filled her pockets with the rest. The sorrowful and painful cries of the kids touched the hearts of many and decided to think on ways of helping the kids. As the mother was busy gathering the litter, some people took the kids gently and escaped with them, and then took them to the police station where they were to be attended to. The health condition of the kids had deteriorated, and the kids looked very weak. Investigation as to where the father went started, but up to now he has not been found. The children officers together with the police officers decided to save the lives of those children by placing them in a children's home and thus brought them to our orphanage. The mother wasn't in a good position to care for the kids due to her mental disability. We were happy and joyful to have received such innocent souls to our orphanage, and we thank God for their rescue. We pray that God gives more strength to them to grow up and serve him and that God accomplishes his will and plan for their future lives. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. God bless you abundantly.
